Leading supplier of iGaming products Play’n Go has been given the go-ahead to operate in Buenos Aires, expanding the company’s Latin American footprint.
Play’n Go has obtained a license from the Lotería de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (LOTBA), joining the ranks of companies that are now preparing to launch in Buenos Aires. Accredited by LOTBA, the gaming regulator in Argentina’s capital province, Play’n Go will be able to bring its entire brand portfolio to the fore.
Argentina is rolling out iGaming on a province-by-province basis, with Buenos Aires long-touted as one of the most desirable destinations and the jurisdictions where gambling laws have made the most progress.
Home to some 17 million people, Buenos Aires, is a vibrant market all by itself, not constricted by a lack of consumers. Thanks to Play’n Go’s license, the supplier will be able to bring its full portfolio to the province and extend it to any party that may seek the company’s services.
This means that any operator that currently teams up with the supplier may seek realization in Buenos Aires and benefit from the company’s knowledge and boots-on-the-ground expertise.

Weitzhandler said Play’n Go was encouraged by the pace of Argentina’s gaming industry re-regulation, with the province of Buenos Aires pushing for regulated gaming solutions since 2018 at the very least.
Positivism in the company towards Latin America seems at an all-time high, with Play’n Go head of sales Cristian Acuna arguing that LatAm players would come to appreciate what Play’n Go can offer in terms of gaming experiences.
“Thanks to our experience in Latin America, we know that what players in Argentina enjoy will be different from players in Colombia, Peru, or Mexico. Operators can’t take a ‘one-size fits approach to Latin America, and we don’t either,” Acuna added.
Argentina continues to work towards the regulation of online gambling in the country. However, every province will have to work on its own timeframe and establish
